Dr. Parker holds unique expertise as only one of several doctors in the world dual trained as a Mohs Surgeon and a Plastic Surgeon. This combination of expertise allows him to prioritize cosmetic outcome while also achieving the highest cure rates for skin cancer removal.

As a Mohs surgeon, Dr. Parker treats both small and large skin cancers, in any body location. As a Plastic surgeon, Dr. Parker has extensive training and experience in both cosmetic surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery, with particular expertise in reconstruction of the face, including the nose, ears, lips, and eyelids. His comprehensive plastic surgery training also included microsurgery, hand surgery, burn surgery, craniofacial surgery (cleft lip), breast reconstruction, skin care, and skin rejuvenation. His Mohs Surgery training encompasses treatment of skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.

Dr. Parker left Dallas to complete his bachelor of science at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He returned to Texas to receive his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he was designated as The Outstanding Plastic Surgery Student. Dr. Parker circled back to Dallas for residency training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at UT Southwestern, considered by many to be one of the top five plastic surgery programs in the country. He then completed an additional fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas under Dr. Willis Cottel, the former president of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Parker is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Parker is founder of Skin Cancer Consults as well as founder of Skincepts Medical Skincare. Dr. Parker also serves as director of the Dallas Surgi Center and as volunteer clinical faculty to the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Parker endevours to serve others by promoting skin health through prevention, intervention, and rejuvenation--the three pillars of his practice. A native of the Dallas area, Dr. Parker is married with four children. He enjoys spending time at the lake and is always prepared with sunscreen in hand. His other interests include involvement in his local church as well as medical missions.
